The 2021 Golden Globe Awards have been rescheduled for Feb. 28, the original date for the 93rd Academy Awards before the Oscars moved to April 25 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Globes are usually held on the first Sunday of January. Since the Oscar nomination process begins on March 5, next year's Globes can still influence the Academy Award voting. “To accommodate both domestic and international film and television productions, the HFPA will provide further guidance around eligibility, voting period and revised nominations announcement timing in the coming weeks,” the Hollywood Foreign Press Association said in a statement.
