Guiding Light and Star Trek vet Marj Dusay dies at 83

Dusay removed Spock's brain in the season premiere of the third and final season of Star Trek: The Original Series. She went on to play Blair's mom on The Facts of Life and she worked on five daytime soap operas, most recently Guiding Light.
