Kaling will voice the Scooby-Doo character Velma Dinkley in the 10-episode standalone animated comedy that tells her origin story. HBO Max has also given a two-season order to a reboot of Clone High from creators Phil Lord and Chris Miller, along with Bill Lawrence. Erica Rivinoja, a writer on the original show, will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Fired on Mars, from creators Nate Sherman and Nick Vokey, is described as an existential workplace comedy set on the Martian campus of a modern tech company, with Davidson voicing one of the characters.
