Hallmark will unveil a record 34 new Christmas movies this year

That's up from 33 last year and 28 in 2016. Hallmark Channel will show 22 of those 34 movies, while the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel will air the rest. Lifetime announced last week that it was more than doubling its holiday-themed movies from six last year to 14 this year.
