MSNBC political analyst Karine Jean-Pierre helped promote the #IStandWithGayle Twitter hashtag Monday morning in response to threats King has received for bringing up the 2003 Kobe Bryant sexual assault case with Lisa Leslie last week on CBS This Morning. "When you are a black woman in this country, you feel threatened, and many times people don't stand up for you. #IStandWithGayle," she tweeted. Mia Farrow and Kathy Griffin also tweeted out the hashtag. "Agree. I will always stand up for you. And I fearlessly and proudly say #IStandWithGayle," tweeted Griffin, also has experience being targeted by angry social media users.
