Jeffrey Tambor will return to Arrested Development -- much of Season 5 was already filmed before his sexual harassment scandal

While Tambor was booted from Amazon's Transparent for sexual harassment, he'll remain on the Netflix's Arrested Development. According to Indiewire's Michael Schneider, Netflix conducted an investigation on whether the actor had any prior sexual misconduct allegations after the Transparent accusations emerged. "While Amazon found cause to remove Tambor from that show, Netflix found that there were no complaints from anyone about Tambor on the set of Arrested, nor had there been throughout the show’s earlier run on Fox," says Schneider. Tambor has received the support of Arrested cast members Jason Bateman and David Cross, who said "there are a number of us who stand behind him." However, Alia Shawkat recently described the situation as "strange" and "sad."
