Jessica Williams is set to star in a Showtime comedy series

The former Daily Show correspondent is re-teaming with Jim Strouse, the director of her film The Incredible Jessica James, to produce and star in a comedy about a black aspiring science fiction writer — played by Williams — who comes of age in Brooklyn. This will be their third project together.
