Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show will air a week of live shows, plus five post-Sunday Night Football airings

Fallon will kick off the fall season with five straight live shows the week of Sept. 23. Additionally, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will air pre-taped Tonight Show episodes after five Sunday Night Football games. The special Tonight Shows will be shown on the first NFL Sunday of the season, on Sept. 8, plus Oct. 6, Oct. 20, Oct. 27 and Dec. 1. The post-Sunday Night Football shows will air after the late local news and will likely start after midnight ET.
