Jimmy Kimmel got in a Twitter spat with Roy Moore after sending his writer to troll the Alabama U.S. Senate candidate

Jimmy Kimmel Live! writer Tony Barbieri, who has been sent out to troll big stories in the persona of “Jake Byrd” for more than a decade, last night showed his “support” for Moore by disrupting a campaign event in a church. This sparked a back-and-forth on Twitter between Moore and Kimmel, with Moore denouncing Kimmel for mocking “our Christian values” and inviting him to “do it man to man.” To which Kimmel responded: “Sounds great Roy - let me know when you get some Christian values and I’ll be there!” Moore tweeted back, “Despite D.C. and Hollywood Elites' bigotry towards southerners, Jimmy, we'll save you a seat on the front pew.” Kimmel shot back: “OK Roy, but I'm leaving my daughters at home! P.S. - wear that cute little leather vest.”
