The president was responding to a story in The Hill that Fox News' The Greg Gutfeld Show, airing weekly on Saturday nights, has more viewers than Stephen Colbert's The Late Show, Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live! "His Ratings easily beat no talent Stephen Colbert, nice guy Jimmy Fallon, and wacko 'last placer' Jimmy Kimmel," Trump tweeted of "one time Trump hater" Greg Gutfeld, adding: "Greg built his show from scratch, and did a great job in doing so." Kimmel responded: "Happy Cinco de Mayo Mr. President! Thanks for the shout-out - now get back to work royally f*cking everything up!" As Vanity Fair points out, the comparison between Gutfeld's show and the three network late-night shows are like apples and oranges. The Greg Gutfeld Show airs on Fox News Channel on cable primetime at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Fox News, while the three late-night shows air in late-night at 11:35 p.m. on network TV on weekdays. Meanwhile, Kimmel's wife, Molly McNearney, also poked fun at Trump's tweet. "Today the President of the United States called my husband a 'wacko last placer' and it didn’t even come up at dinner," she tweeted Tuesday night.
