Joe Biden to accept the Democratic presidential nomination at a mostly virtual convention in Milwaukee

Biden plans to accept the presidential nomination in person at the end of the Aug. 17-20 convention, but it's unclear if he'll do it in front of a significant in-person audience. Most of the official business will be done virtually. “Vice President Biden intends to proudly accept his party’s nomination in Milwaukee and take the next step forward towards making Donald Trump a one-term president,” said Biden's campaign manager Jen O'Malley. Meanwhile, President Trump and the Republican party still plan to have a large-scale event in Jacksonville one week later, from Aug. 24-27.
