Joel McHale is returning to his Soup roots with Netflix’s The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale

Two years after saying goodbye to E!’s The Soup, McHale will be back with another weekly absurdist look at pop-culture and the news that Netflix is describing as a “fast and funny distillation of everything people are talking about that week.” McHale will be joined by his long-time Soup head writer, KP Anderson. Director Paul Feig will also serve as an executive producer. Each episode will tape Thursdays and go up on Netflix on Sundays. Netflix has given The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale a 13-episode order, with the premiere set for Feb. 18.
