Judge Judy announcer Jerry Bishop dies at 84

"Jerry Bishop has been the voice of our program for 24 years," Judy Sheindlin said in a statement, noting that he was still working as her announcer until shortly before his death. "Everybody loved him. He had a golden heart and generous spirit. I adored him and will miss him." Before joining Judge Judy, Bishop was the voice of the Disney Channel for 15 years. He also did voiceover work for Miller Coors, Budweiser and Burger King.
