A judge has ruled that Fox doesn't have to pay $128 million in punitive damages as part of the $179 million ruling that an arbitrator made in February in favor of Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz, and the producers of the 2005-17 Fox drama. Fox still owes $32 million in compensatory damages, $10 million in prejudgment interest and more than $9 million in fees and costs. Bones producers and stars say they plan to appeal the judge's ruling.
