Julia Louis-Dreyfus recalls getting Tom Hanks' permission at the last minute to use him in Veep's series finale

Louis-Dreyfus tells Jimmy Kimmel that the series finale was almost ready to be sent to HBO when a producer asked about getting Hanks' permission for Veep's final joke. So she wrote him an email, and he quickly texted his approval back -- though she says Hanks was upset he wasn't cast as "the abortion doctor" in an earlier episode.
