Jussie Smollett fires back at comparisons between him and the girl who lied about having her dreadlocks hacked off

On Monday, the family of Amari Allen, a black girl in the 6th grade who claimed three white boys attacked her and cut off her dreadlocks, admitted that she had lied about the alleged incident. When Instagram account The Shade Room responded to the story by joking "Jussie really is a trendsetter," the former Empire star issued a response in the comments section. "With all due respect brother, y'all can clown me all you want but my story has actually never changed and I haven't lied about a thing," Smollett wrote. "Y'all can continue to be misinformed, internalized sheep, who believe what actual proven liars feed you or you can read the actual docs. Either way, Imma be alright. I know me and what happened. You don't. So carry on. All love."
