The Battlestar Galactica alum is poised to reprise her Clone Wars role of Mandalorian warrior Bo-Katan Kryze on the second season of Disney+'s live-action Star Wars series, reports Slash Film. Although Sackhoff's role isn't confirmed, Slash Film says she already filmed her Bo-Katan scenes in February. The Mandalorian, which completed principal photography in March before the coronavirus shutdown, is scheduled to return for Season 2 in October. Sackhoff's Bo-Katan first appeared in The Clone Wars in Season 4. "If you don’t know the animated series," explains Slash Film's Peter Sciretta, "it all boils down to this: Bo-Katan was an instrumental Mandalorian leader who once wielded the Darksaber, a weapon that the villainous Moff Gideon now controls, as seen in the first season finale of The Mandalorian." He adds that Bo-Katan's appearance in The Mandalorian will allow Dave Filoni to tie up loose ends from The Clone Wars.
