Kelly Rowland to play Gladys Knight on BET's American Soul

As part of her portrayal on the 1970s-set Soul Train period drama, Rowland will record a cover of one of the soul icon’s song “Midnight Train to Georgia.” Knight was one of the first singers to perform on Soul Train.
