There was a "certain emotional remove" in the way the male late-night hosts responded to Thursday's testimonies from Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, according to Judy Berman. She pointed to the short video Samantha Bee released online Friday as demonstrating that there is a "shortage of similarly cathartic female voices" on late-night TV.
