New Orleans Saints QB Brees came under fire Tuesday for saying, in wake of the George Floyd tragedy, he “will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country" in response to a question on the NFL National Anthem protests against police brutality that Colin Kaepernick started. Brees apologized for his comments this morning. But last night Ingraham defended Brees' right to speak out. Her comments came two years after she delivered a diatribe against NBA players LeBron James and Kevin Durant, telling them to not discuss police brutality and to stick to sports. “Keep the political commentary to yourself, or as someone once said, shut up and dribble," she said.
