Lena Waithe and Halle Berry join BET's Boomerang sequel as executive producers

Berry, who co-starred in the 1992 Eddie Murphy movie Boomerang, will produce what is now being described as a 10-episode sequel. Waithe will co-write the pilot in addition to serving as an executive producer.
