Linda Cardellini to co-star with Christina Applegate on FX's Dead to Me

The Bloodline and Freaks and Geeks alum is joining Applegate on the half-hour dark comedy described as a comedic Big Little Lies. It revolves around the powerful friendship between a tightly wound widow (Applegate) and a free spirit with a shocking secret (Cardellini). Dead to Me will be written by Liz Feldman, with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay serving as executive producers.
