People magazine reports that under federal guidelines, both Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli would have received between 18-24 months in prison under a plea agreement. “They weren’t ready to accept that,” says a source, who is familiar with the legal discussions in the case. “They’re really not seeing how serious this is.” Loughlin and Giannulli now face up to 20 years in prison with the new money laundering charges that were leveled today.
