About 760,000 watched the horror drama's first airing Sunday night. That's compared to 800,000 for Watchmen's premiere last fall and 884,000 for Perry Mason in June. Lovecraft Country attracted 1.4 million viewers across all platforms, compared to 1.7 million for Perry Mason and 1.5 million for Watchmen.
