Lucifer boss explains the cliffhanger series finale and whether Fox will ever air the two "bonus" episodes

"Smarter minds are going to handle that side of things," co-showrunner Joe Henderson says of Lucifer's future now that is has been canceled by Fox. "I am just going to wait and see and hope that some network or streaming service picks us up and lets us tell more stories." As for the bonus episodes made to air this fall, Henderson says Fox still plans to air them. But if that doesn't happen, they could end up on the final season DVD.
