NBA Today will debut in October ahead of the NBA season and air from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. every weekday afternoon. The fast-rising 26-year-old Andrews will also get a contract extension as part of hosting her own show. Andrews replaced Nichols as a sideline reporter during the NBA Finals. ESPN canceled The Jump and took Nichols off the air last month, weeks after the revelation that she had disparaged ESPN colleague Maria Taylor last year was made public.
