Redmond, who also narrated The Flying Nun, actually died on Feb. 10, but her death was recently revealed in the new issue of the quarterly SAG-AFTRA magazine. Redmond earned an Emmy nomination for her role as Sister Jacqueline on the 1967-70 ABC comedy starring Sally Field that was set in a convent in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Redmond was also well known for playing a friendly country innkeeper in Cool Whip commercials.
