Carey wasn't planning to reveal her pregnancy during a 2008 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, but felt she had no choice when Ellen handed her a glass of champagne to prove she wasn't pregnant. “I was extremely uncomfortable with that moment is all I can say. And I really have had a hard time grappling with the aftermath,” Carey told Vulture in an interview published today. “I wasn’t ready to tell anyone because I had had a miscarriage.
