The Fargo alum is returning to FX in parenting comedy Breeders that FX is making with British broadcaster Sky. Freeman co-created the comedy in which he plays a dad. Breeders, according to the official logline, "exposes the parental paradox that it is possible, in the very same moment, to love your child to the horizon of the universe, while being apoplectically angry enough to want to send them there.” The Sherlock star will also take on a new detective role on A Confession, a six-part drama based on a real police detective "whose decision to deliberately breach police protocol in order to catch a killer, cost him his career and reputation."
