Bryan Freedman, the lawyer Kelly hired late last week to represent her to settle her NBC contract, issued a statement Tuesday calling out NBC News' chairman by name while saying NBC was leaking rumors that Kelly was seeking more than she was owed. “Out of respect for the discussions, I am not going to share more details but any suggestion that Megyn is looking for more than her contract is untrue," Freedman said in his statement. "This is clearly planted by NBC News to continue its mission to harm Megyn and gain some sort of leverage. It won’t work. Andy Lack needs to stop.” An anonymous NBC insider fired back, telling Page Six: “That’s delusional, her attorney should look inside his camp for any leaks about the discussions. These are desperate attempts to distract from the main issue: Her offensive comments on live TV about blackface.”
