Mehdi Hasan to host a weekly MSNBC Sunday night show

The former Al Jazeera journalist and author already hosts the daily The Mehdi Hasan Show on Peacock while occasionally filling in for MSNBC's Chris Hayes . MSNBC announced today that Hasan will take over the 8 p.m. ET hour starting this weekend with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as his first guest.
