Melissa Rauch to star in Night Court reboot pilot after making it happen as its executive producer

Rauch is the driving force behind the NBC pilot, which stars John Larroquette reprising his Emmy-winning role. After reading the script Rauch decided to take on the role of unapologetic optimist judge Abby Stone, daughter of the late Harry Stone, who follows in her father’s footsteps as she presides over the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court. Night Court marks Rauch's first regular TV role since The Big Bang Theory.
