The Family Guy star, who was born Chernivtsi, Ukraine when the country was part of the Soviet Union in 1983, came to America with her family at age 7 in 1991. "I've always considered myself American—a proud American," she said in a video with husband Ashton Kutcher posted on his Instagram account. "I love everything this country has done for myself and my family. But today I have never been more proud to be Ukrainian." The couple announced they are donating $3 million to support Ukrainian refugees, and they hope to raise $30 million.
