Modern Family's Ariel Winter replaces Demi Lovato on NBC's Hungry comedy pilot

Winter will take over the lead role from Lovato, who had to step down last Thursday after being announced as the star of the comedy pilot in January 2021. Hungry revolves around a group of friends in a food-issues group. Lovato remains as an executive producer on Hungry. Winter's quick casting allows to table read to proceed on Tuesday.
