Larry Edgeworth, who worked as an NBC News audio technician at the network's 30 Rock headquarters for 25 years, died Thursday after testing positive for coronavirus. NBC News said he suffered from “other health issues that led him to succumb to the illness.” Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker paid tribute to Edgeworth on Instagram, with Roker calling him a "friend" and "giant both physically and emotionally." Edgeworth is not the 9 a.m. Today show staffer who contracted coronavirus, forcing Roker and Craig Melvin to work from home earlier this week. That employee is recovering well, according to Page Six.
