NBC releases the cast of its La Brea pilot, except for Natalie Zea and Zyra Gorecki

With the pilot casting options expiring on June 30, NBC has opted not to hold on to much of La Brea's cast while waiting seven months to begin production, which would be costly. Michael Raymond-James, Jon Seda and Christian Keyes are among the actors who are being released from their contracts, but they could be invited back if they are available next year. Additionally, NBC has upped the number of scripts to six, raising the potential for a straight-to-series pickup.
