NBC renews the Will & Grace revival for Season 3

Technically, Will & Grace has been picked up for an 11th season to run in the 2019-2020 season. But NBC's official announcement, made at PaleyFest, emphasized that it's a "Season Three" pickup. NBC also announced that Season 2 will expand from 16 to 18 episodes. This is the second time that NBC has given the Will & Grace revival an early renewal, likely due to the busy schedules of the cast. Season 2 of the revival was ordered nearly two months before Season 1 premiered. Will & Grace has averaged about 9.8 million viewers so far this season.
