NBC’s Emmy broadcast will return to September

The Peacock’s last three Emmys — in 2006, 2010 and 2014 — have aired in late August to accomodate Sunday Night Football.  In 2018, the Emmys will air in the traditional late September slot, specifically on Sept. 17.
