NBC will air the Golden Globes ceremony in its entirety even if its NFL playoff game lead-in runs long

This will be the second straight year that NBC will air an NFL playoff game and the Globes back to back. Last year, NBC's playoff game ended six minutes before the Globes were scheduled to begin. This year, the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles will face each other on NBC starting at 4:40 p.m. ET with the Globes scheduled begin at 8 p.m. ET.
