The battle of two losing teams on a crowded sports night was "well below" the previous all-time low, a 2008 Seattle Seahawks-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game that competed directly with Game 7 of the World Series. Last night was the first night since November 2009 that the NBA, NFL, NHL, Major League Baseball, college football and Major League Soccer all had games on the same night.
