Netflix cancels Teenage Bounty Hunters after one season

The cancelation comes nearly two months after the dramedy's premiere on Aug. 14 to critical acclaim. Teenage Bounty Hunters becomes the second Jenji Kohan-produced Netflix series to be canceled today, after GLOW. The cancelation comes after Teenage Bounty Hunters cracked the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 rankings for the week of Aug. 17-23. According to Deadline's Nellie Andreeva, "Netflix goes straight-to-series on all of its projects, bypassing a pilot stage. Cancelling some series after Season 1 is equivalent to networks passing on some of their produced pilots."
