Netflix cancels The Irregulars after it was No. 1 on Nielsen's Streaming Top 10

The Sherlock Holmes-inspired British mystery crime drama revolving around a gang of troubled teens in Victorian London has been given the ax less than six weeks after its March 26 premiere. The cancelation comes despite The Irregulars winning mostly raves from critics and debuting at No. 2 on Nielsen's Streaming 10 for the week of March 22, climbing to No. 1 for the week of March 29 and topping Marvel's The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. No word on why The Irregulars was canceled. But Netflix is known for canceling shows after only one season.
