Netflix orders a Godzilla anime series

Godzilla: Singular Point follows the streaming service's three Godzilla movies -- Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle and Godzilla: The Planet Eater -- though the series from director Atsushi Takahashi will have a new storyline with no ties to films.
