Netflix orders docuseries on the death of Elisa Lam

The four-part Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel will try to find out what happened to Elisa Lam, a college student and tourist whose disappearance from the Cecil Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles in 2013 and the discovery of her body days later was the subject of intense scrutiny. Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel premieres Feb. 10.
