Netflix's Messiah gets an official trailer and premiere date

The Mark Burnett-produced thriller series stars Michelle Monaghan as a CIA agent who investigates a mysterious figure and miracle worker, played by Mehdi Dehbi, who claims to be the messiah who leads a growing group of cult-like followers. But he may be a con artist. Dermot Mulroney and Beau Bridges also star in Messiah, premiering on New Year's Day.
