Nick Robinson and Kate Mara are going back to school in FX's A Teacher

Filmmaker Hannah Fidell is adapting her 2013 film A Teacher, exploring the story of the mugshot of a female teacher caught having an affair with a male student, as a 10-episode FX limited series starring Love, Simon‘s Robinson and House of Cards' Mara. Mara will play the teacher, while Robinson will take on the role as her student. Fidell will write, direct and serve as executive producer on A Teacher. “Hannah Fidell is an exceptional filmmaker we have long admired for her intuitive ability to bring complex stories to life with depth and grace,” said Gina Balian, FX’s co-president of original programming. “We are thrilled to… adapt A Teacher into a limited series for FX, with Kate leading an extraordinary cast along with Nick Robinson.”
