Nirvana's legendary MTV Unplugged turns 25: Read the oral history

"The best television episode of the 1990s starred a short, blond man and his band," says Alan Siegel. "On November 18, 1993, at Sony Music Studios in New York City, Nirvana took on MTV Unplugged.
