"I'm not about to reimagine Good Times or The Jeffersons," the iconic TV producer tells The Hollywood Reporter. Lear's obscure shows that could be rebooted include 1975 hotel comedy Hot L Baltimore and 1977 soap opera spoof All That Glitters. "If we're going to take properties and reimagine them, it would likely be from deeper in the library and things that people don't readily know," says Brent Miller, Lear's producing partner. The Hollywood Reporter adds that Amazon has passed on Lear's rejected NBC retirement community comedy pilot Guess Who Died, starring Holland Taylor, Hector Elizondo and Christopher Lloyd. Although Lear says, "I'm not done pursuing this world."
