The chair of the Commission of Presidential Debates, Frank Fahrenkopf, said that the Oct. 22 debate will be held in-person and won't be virtual. Meanwhile, White House Dr. Sean Conley on Thursday said Trump is cleared to participate in public events starting on Saturday as the Trump campaign pushes for the commission to reverse its decision making the Oct. 15 debate virtual. But Fahrenkopf told the Associated Press late Thursday that the decision to hold the debate virtually, guided by its medical advisers at the Cleveland Clinic, was not going to be reversed.
