Are You Sleeping, based on Kathleen Barber's true-crime novel of the same name, delves into the obsession Americans have with true-crime podcasts. Serial podcaster Sarah Koenig will serve as a consultant. The proposed series expands Witherspoon’s relationship with Apple, where she’s starring in a morning news drama with Jennifer Aniston.
